Leaker claims Modern Warfare will have an insane number of maps and guns at launch

Infinity Ward

The upcoming Modern Warfare title will not have any shortage of content at launch, according to the latest major leak in the world of Call of Duty

There are just about three months remaining until the highly-anticipated release of Modern Warfare on October 25, and details about Multiplayer still remain clouded at this point.

While Infinity Ward gave players a first true glimpse of the multiplayer in their July 11 reveal of the new 2v2 Gunfight mode, many continue to rely on leaks, rumors, and speculation to keep updated.

There are around 20 maps and 50 weapons in the game right now.

My source underestimated before.

I don’t know if some will be held back for after launch, but apparently not.

This is not even including the large maps playlist.

Phenomenal.

In fact, according to the YouTuber, the content doesn’t stop there. He went on to say the MW will also feature both a War and battle royale mode, as well as a large maps playlist, over 200 cooperative Spec-Ops missions, and more.

We’re getting War, Battle Royale, a large maps playlist, CO-OP with over 200 spec ops missions, also 8v8 & 16v16 PvPvE modes in CO-OP too… this is unheard of in Call of Duty

So far, the new 2v2 Gunfight mode is the only gameplay players have seen of Modern Warfare multiplayer.

Modern Warfare multiplayer global reveal event announced

Players who are starving for information about MW multiplayer won’t have to stay hungry for too much longer, as Activision finally announced the date for the global reveal stream, which is not too far away!

They even gave a preview of what to expect in the game’s multiplayer by letting popular streamers unveil the Gunfight mode to the world, which, admittedly, drew some mixed feedback.

However, there are still a lot of questions that remain unanswered, so the best thing to do at this point is to just wait for the developers to show us what everyone is in store for come October.
